About the Business
Founded in 1996 with a management buyout from Yorkshire Electricity, Freedom has grown significantly and now has offices throughout the UK and USA. The company is increasingly recognised as a world class provider of engineering services to the utility sector and wider markets, working primarily with electricity distribution networks.
Within our group, we have some well known businesses including British Power International in design, consultancy and advisory services, and Agrilek in renewable energy.
By developing these partnerships we have the capability to consult, design, build, install, maintain and replace assets on the distribution networks. In addition to this, Freedom also now provides services to a vast number of private network sites including universities, football club grounds, HM Prisons, hospitals, industrial businesses, docklands and many more.
