About the Business
We are a registered member of the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors (NICEIC). This entails frequent audits of our work by NICEIC engineers and provides our clients with the assurance that our work is always carried out to the highest standards. All work is carried out by fully qualified, and insured electricians. Part P of the Building Regulations for England and Wales was introduced by the Government in January 2005, with the aim of reducing the number of accidents in the home related to faulty electrical installations.
It is now a legal requirement for electricians or individuals involved in carrying out domestic electrical work to comply with these Building Regulations. Failure to comply with Building Regulations is a criminal offence and you can be fined up to £5000. As an NICEIC registered Domestic Installer, Swift Electrical supplies all relevant certification that may be required by the homeowner.
